Garland Independent
School District has the Kindergarten Pre-Registration information available.
Garland allows a student to go to just about any school in their district on a basis of
the following criteria:
1. First
choices go to a child if an older brother/sister go(es) to the school of choice
2. Second
choice goes to a child based on the distance from the home to the school
If a school is full, the above criteria
is, obviously, not completely adhered to.
Other
factors are considered -- please note that this is only a guideline based on our
information -- WE ARE NOT THE FINAL AUTHORITY ON THIS.
